PhD CANDIDATE IN PHILOSOPHY, in the field of research of Ethics and Politics, in the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), under the supervision of prof. André de Macedo Duarte, PhD.

CRIMINAL LAWYER (OAB/PR 110.831) in the law office Faucz Santos & Advogados Associados, and Academic Research Advisor in Criminal Law under the supervision of prof. Rodrigo Faucz Pereira e Silva, PhD.

Has a Master’s degree in philosophy in the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), granted a CAPES/DS researching scholarship (2019-2021). Graduate in Philosophy in the same university. While an undergraduate student, Isabela participated as a researcher with scholarship in the group PET – Philosophy (Education and Tutorship Program) and spent a period of university extension in HARVARD UNIVERSITY in the field of African and African-American Studies.

Postgraduate in Criminal Law and Procedure at the Brazilian Academy of Constitutional Law (ABDConst). Currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Jury’s Trial in Faculdade CERS/Curso CEI. Graduate in Law in the Social Studies Foundation of Paraná (FESP-PR). Member of the research group Humanities in Law, in the Social Studies Foundation of Paraná (FESP-PR), and also of NUPEJURI (Research Group in Jury’s Trial), in FAE University.

Develops research in Contemporary Political Philosophy, with an emphasis on the study of biopolitics, necropolitics, and Latin-American decolonial studies; and in the area of Criminology, concentrating on phenomena such as mass incarceration, the coloniality of punitive power, and ethnic-racial relations.
